Trevor Edwards (Accountant and Auditor)
Trevor was admitted to Australian Society of Accountants in 1969 and entered into public practice as Oliver and Edwards in July 1971. After 10 years Trevor became a private accountant for a group of public companies but resumed as a sole trader in Leederville in July 1982. A registered company auditor, Trevor decided to focus on auditing in February 2002 predominately in Self Managed Superannuation Funds, but still attends to clients business consultation and taxation requirements.
Matthew Edwards (Accountant)
Commencing employment in the family firm in 1994 and graduating in 1996, Matthew is available for advice and assistance in matters pertaining to all areas of taxation and business, with special reference to GST. He maintains the office computer network and assists clients with computer related software problems (accounting packages and Windows and Linux operating systems) and hardware advice as required. In his free time he trains in Karate and Taekwondo.
Natalie Thornett (Associate)
Natalie completed an advanced diploma in Accounting through Central Tafe during 2002 and 2003. She currently attends Edith Cowan University studying a double major in Accounting and Business Law due to be completed in November 2005. Natalie is also registered as a student member of NIA. In April of 2004 Natalie joined the TJ Edwards team and specifically performs tax duties for individuals and small business, liasing with clients and producing appropriate returns and financial documentation. She captains a netball team when study and work commitments allow.
Yolanda Edwards (Office Manager/Accountant)
Yolanda is the office manager at T J Edwards. Yol completed her Advanced Diploma of Accounting in 1996, but found her forte in managing a small business. She is also responsible for all corporate matters including secretarial issues and problem solving with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Yols main interests are cooking and Taekwondo.
Angela Saffin (Administration)
Originally from Mount Gambier, Angela joined TJ Edwards in August 2003 on a part time basis whilst studying at Edith Cowan University. Angela assists with the preparation of superannuation fund audits, tax returns and GST statements. She also assist in office administration and attending to client enquiries. Angela is an accomplished netball player and singer.
